  3. Aerial is a form of yoga that combines breathwork and traditional asanas while using an aerial hammock to assume the various postures.

Meditation is a mindfulness targeted practice that uses various breathing techniques to reduce stress, to be, to be present, to be thoughtful, to sit with thoughts, feelings or emotions, to release stress, tension and/or anxiety from the body, mind or spirit, to nurture innovation and creativity and to be empowered to live life on purpose and so much more!

  • Mindfulness meditation is born from Hindu and Buddhist traditions and is the most common meditation technique applied in Western culture. It is common to focus on the breath, one’s thoughts or an object in the room as part of the practice.
  • Focused Meditation is a practice where one focuses on one or more of the 5 senses for example, what you smell in the room or taste in your mouth, so as to yield increased focus or attention.
  • Movement meditation is a way to focus on breath and movement or on movement while breath comes along for the experience. This can include movement like Tai Chi, walking, yoga, Pilates, or gardening.
  • Mantra meditation can be used when setting an intention to focus on a word or phrase. For example, one might speak out loud or silently to oneself the word “valued” or the phrase “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” This meditation technique can result in a heightened self-awareness.
  • Progressive relaxation a practitioner makes an assessment by scanning the body while taking inventory of where they may be holding onto stress, anxiety or tension and applying breathing techniques to release it.
  • Loving-Kindness Meditation is a technique used to encourage the extension of love, compassion, empathy, grace or kindness towards oneself or to others.
  • Visualization meditation is a technique where images of one or many positive environments, circumstances or situations is utilized to encourage thoughts of calm, peace and relaxation.
